Cancellation Policy

The Policy
Life can be a real pain at times, and we understand that every now and then things don’t work out as planned. However, we are a small business that relies on having our clients turn up to their booked appointment, not only so that we can pay the employee that is at work ready to do your service, but also so we can pay to keep the electricity on and the doors open.

When you don’t attend your appointment or don’t give us enough notice that you can’t attend, that also means that we have turned away other clients because that time was allocated to you specifically for that service, which is not fair on us, or the other client.

So, to protect all of our loyal client’s appointments, to protect our business from loss of trading, and to ensure your appointment is relaxing and enjoyable, we have adapted the following salon policies. We may use or discretion and waive the policy where we deem necessary.

We greatly appreciate your support of our business and we will endeavour to provide the utmost professional service to you at every appointment.

1. All new clients, clients who have previously not shown up or have a history of cancelling appointments within less than 48 hours will be required to leave a $50 booking fee for all chemical services to secure their appointment, which will be deducted from the cost of the actual appointment. Booking fee will only be transferred, when more than 48 hours’ notice is provided for cancellations. All no-show clients will incur the full $50 fee.
2. We run by appointment, therefore late arrivals of 15 minutes or more may be unable to be serviced, and if so, the cancellation policy may apply at salon’s discretion.
3. All no-show and late cancellation clients will be required to pay a booking fee for all future appointments at Master Cutterz Hair Studio, and repeat offenders may be refused a future booking.
4. All online bookings will be contacted once the appointment is made to secure appointment and take deposit.
5. Booked services cannot be cancelled on arrival of appointment.
6. All clients will be sent a confirmation message two (2) days prior to their appointment. Failure to confirm 24 hours prior to your appointment will result in the appointment being cancelled. Please note: it is an automated system and can only receive “YES” or “NO” responses, no personal messages.
7. Our highly trained technicians provide professional results using the finest products available. Master Cutterz Hair Studio cannot guarantee lasting results unless you are using recommended home care products purchased from Master Cutterz Hair Studio or if you swim regularly.
8. As per the Small Business and the Competition and Consumer Act, any problems with your service must be reported within one (1) week of the original service by phone call or in person. As per the Small Business and the Competition and Consumer Act, Master Cutterz Hair Studio will then fix the service or replace the product at no charge, within one (1) week of the report of the fault.
9. All prices include GST. All prices are subject to variation without notice. To obtain a quote, please schedule a free consultation at Master Cutterz Hair Studio.

Exceptions
We understand that accidents happen, people get sick and/or emergencies occur. We will do our best to accommodate these rare occasions with grace. We do record these occurrences to prevent abuse of the policy. Our goal is to be preventative to protect and accommodate our valued clients.

Bridal Party Booking Fee
All bridal parties are required to provide full names and contact details of all persons being serviced, whether at the salon or on location.
A $250 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure the booking.
50% of the appointment (less the booking fee) is due two (2) weeks prior to the appointment.
Full balance is due 24 hours prior to the appointment.

*Although the risk of developing new allergy is reduced, there remains a risk of allergic reaction that can be severe. Always ask your stylist to perform an Allergy Alert Test 48h before each colouration. Strictly follow safety instructions and consult www.wella.com/kolestonperfect . If you have ever experienced an allergic reaction to hair colourants, you should not colour. ME+ technology is present in specific shades of Pure Naturals, Rich Naturals, Vibrant Reds, Special Blondes and Deep Browns of the Koleston Perfect brand.
